アジア学院とは…

世界の農村指導者を養成するアジア学院は、1973年に栃木県北部に創設されました。有機農場を擁した6ヘクタールのキャンパスに、世界中から集まった学生、職員、ボランティアが共同生活をしながら、毎年9か月間の研修を作り上げる、小さな学校です

Tomoko Arakawa, director of ARI, will give a lecture on the experiences at ARI, reflecting on the motto “That We May Live Together” and touching on the dignity of life, climate change, SDGs, etc. Everyone is welcome to join for the lecture. Feel free to come to the event when you can come to Yokohama, metropolitan area. The venue of the event is Yokohama Uehara Church in Nishi-ku, Yokohama City.

What is ARI?
Asian Rural Institute (ARI) was founded in 1973 in the northern Tochigi Prefecture as an institute that trains rural leaders from Asia, Africa, Pacific, and Latin America. It is a small school where participants, staff, and volunteers from different countries live together on a 6-hectare campus with an organic farm, learning and sharing life with each other throughout a 9-month training program each year.
